Introduction of New Train between Rameswaram-Faizabad-Rameswaram (via Ayodhya) (Train No. 16794/Train No. 16793)

Ministry of Railways will introduce a new train between Rameswaram-Faizabad-Rameswaram. The new train will be flagged off by Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on27th July, 2017 through video conferencing at Mandapam at 12:30 hrs. However, The Regular services will commence from 2nd August 2017.

Regular Services:-

Train No. 16794 Faizabad-Rameswaram weekly Express will depart Faizabad at 23:55 hrs on every Wednesday and arrive Rameswaram at 08:50 hrs on Saturday with effect from 2nd August, 2017.

In the return direction, Train No. 16793 Rameswaram-Faizabad weekly Express will depart Rameswaram at 23:50 hrs on every Sunday and arrive Faizabad at 08:30 hrs on Wednesday with effect from 6th August, 2017.

Enroute,    these trains will stop at Manamadurai,Thiruchirapalli,Thanjavur,Villupuram,Chennai Egmore,Gudur,Vijayawada,Warangal,Ballarshah,Nagpur,Itarsi,Jabalpur,Satna,Allahabad,Jaunpur,Ayodhya stations in both the directions.

These trains consist of 18 coaches viz., one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, eight sleeper, two General second class, one Pantry Car and two Luggage cum Brakevan Coaches.

Inaugural Service:-

Accordingly, Train No.06793 Rameswaram-Faizabad Inaugural Express will depart Rameswaram at 12:30 hrs on 27thJuly, 2017 (Thursday) and arrive Faizabad at 23:00 hrs on the second day(Saturday).

Enroute, this train will stop at Manamadurai, Thiruchirapalli, Thanjavur, Villupuram,Chennai Egmore,Gudur,Vijayawada,Warangal,Balharshah,Nagpur,Itarsi,Jabalpur,Satna,Allahabad,Jaunpur, Ayodhya stations.

This train consists of 18 coaches viz., one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, eight sleeper, two General second class, one Pantry Car and two Luggage cum Brakevan Coaches.
