Sub: Schedule of Powers (SOP).
Ref: Railway Board’s letter No.2017/ Trans/01/ Policy dated 26.10.2017.
Railway Board vide letter under reference has issued Model SOP delegating the Financial and Administrative Powers. A copy of this Model SOP has been uploaded on the website of Eastern Railway ( to be accessed through the website addresses er.indianrailways.gov.in).
With the approval of competent authority, this Model SOP is implemented over Eastern Railway with immediate effect This Model SOP shall supersede all the existing chapters of USOP and correction slips issued thereon from time to time.
Suggestions / modifications required in any of the items of this Model SOP may be advised to this office through PHODs / CHODs / DRMs / CWMs by 15.11.2017. The necessary corrigenda / addenda shall be issued in due course of time.
