VENDOR DEVELOPMENT MEET HELD AT CSMT on 23.11.2017

Central Railway in collaboration with Western Railway and Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) organized a Vendor Development Meet for “Ease of doing business” in Railways for the Western region at Central Railway Auditorium on 23.11.2017. The Meet was highly successful and 184 vendors of the Western region including local vendors from Mumbai attended the meeting.

Shri D.K. Sharma General Manager, Central Railway was the guest of honour in the meeting, Shri Vishal Agarwal Additional General Manager, Central Railway, Shri V.K. Jain PCMM Central Railway, Shri P.C. Sharma, PCMM, Western Railway, Shri Mahesh Chandra, EDRS (G) Railway Board, Shri K.J.Mani CGM/SIDBI, PHODs and other Sr. Officers of Central Railway and Western Railway were also present in the meeting.

Central Railway, Western Railway, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and Small & Medium Enterprises Rating Agency (SMERA) had given presentation on various aspects of registration, procurement, etc. with stress upon ease of doing business and thrust on made in India. The meet was co-ordinated by Shri D.K. Srivastava, CMM Central Railway an interaction session was held with the Vendors to clarify their doubts.
