Model railway stations under Ratlam railway division

Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state :-
(a) the names of the stations which are to be transformed into Model railway stations under Ratlam railway division of Western Railway and the time bound action plan for providing modern passenger amenities; and
(b) the details of the works to be carried out for renovation and expansion of Indore, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Mandsaur and Nimach railway stations in the year 2018- 19 with reference to ‘a’ above?

STATEMENT REFERRED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (a) AND (b) OF STARRED QUESTION NO. 230 BY DR. SATYANARAYAN JATIYA ANSWERED IN RAJYA SABHA ON 16.03.2018 REGARDING MODEL RAILWAY STATIONS UNDER RATLAM RAILWAY DIVISION
(a) & (b): At present, stations are undertaken for development under “Adarsh Station Scheme” and 1253 stations including 7 stations in Ratlam Division have been identified for development under this scheme. List of 7 stations in Ratlam Division identified for development under Adarsh Station Scheme is as under:

(7) Chittorgarh Jn., Dahod, Indore, Mandsaur, Meghnagar, Ratlam and Ujjain.
Chittorgarh Jn., Dahod, Indore, Meghnagar, Ratlam and Ujjain railway stations have been developed under ‘Adarsh’ Station Scheme as per norms. Mandsaur Railway station has been planned for development under this scheme during 2018-19 subject to availability of funds. Nimach and Nagda Railway stations have not been identified for development under ‘Adarsh’ Station Scheme. Nimach Railway station has been developed under ‘Model’ and ‘Modern’ Station Schemes and Nagda Railway station has been developed under ‘Model’ Station Scheme as per norms.
Various passenger amenities which inter-alia include improvement of facade of the station building, retiring room, waiting room (with bathing facilities), separate waiting room for ladies, landscaping of circulating area, earmarked parking, signages, Pay & Use toilets, Foot Over Bridge, ramps at entry to station, separate parking for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Non-slippery walkway, ‘May I help you’ booth, trolley path etc. are to be provided at Railway stations which are identified for development under this scheme as per the respective category of the station.
