High speed trains on Amritsar Delhi route

Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state :-
(a) whether Government is aware that Amritsar is a very important tourism destination where around 2 lakh tourists visit daily to pay homage at Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple and other tourism and religious destinations;
(b) whether Government is planning to introduce high speed trains like Gatimaan and Tejas on Amritsar-Delhi route;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?
ANSWER
MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (SHRI RAJEN GOHAIN)
(a): Yes, Sir.
(b) to (d): At present, there is no proposal for introduction of Gatiman and Tejas Express between Amritsar and Delhi owing to operational and resource constraints.
