Will the Minister of RAILWAYS be pleased to state :-
(a) whether it is a fact that full-time post of Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board, North-Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur is lying vacant since long;

(b) if so, since when this post has been lying vacant and whether the Ministry is contemplating to fill up the same; and

(c) the details of total number of recruitments executed by the Railway Recruitment Board, North-Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur in last three years and the number of persons got engaged in service by this Commission?

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (SHRI RAJEN GOHAIN)

(a) & (b): The post of Chairman / Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur is vacant since 01.02.2018, after the retirement of the previous incumbent. Principal Chief Personnel Officer (PCPO) / North-Eastern Railway has been detailed to look after the duties of the Chairman / RRB, Gorakhpur as a short term arrangement.

(c): During last three years, a total 2305 candidates have been empanelled by RRB, Gorakhpur for various Group ‘C’ posts under Direct Recruitment (DR) Quota. The year-wise position is as under-
