Indian Railway 5% Discount on the Total Value of Basic Fare of Counter Ticket

Provision of 5% discount on the total value of basic fare of PRS (reserved) counter ticket on booking of reserved counter through UPI (Unified Payment Interface) including BHIM application

SUB: Provision of 5% discount on the total value of basic fare of PRS (reserved) counter ticket on booking of reserved counter through UPI (Unified Payment Interface) including BHIM application

REF: 1. Commercial Circular no. 16 of 2018 dated 09.03.2018
2. Commercial Circular no. 16A of 16.03.2018
3. Commercial circular 16B of 2018 dated 18.04.2018
4. CRIS letter no.2018/CRIS/NDLS-HQ/PRS/RLY BOARD/189/PTXXIV/0264 dated 06.07.2018

In continuation of the above instructions, Ministry of Railways have decided to extend the currency of the instructions regarding provision of 5% discount on the total value of basic fare of PRS (reserved) counter ticket on booking of reserved counter through UPI (Unified payment Interface) including BHIM application upto 13.06.2019.

2. All others terms and conditions shall be same as per Commercial Circular 16 of 2018.

3. CRIS may furnish the details of passengers booked and amount of discount given by 31.05.2019 for further review.
