ER TO PROVIDE CASHLESS HEALTH SERVICE FOR RETIRED EMPLOYEES
Shri Harindra Rao, General Manager, Eastern Railway handed over the first CTSE Card to a retired ER employee during a meeting held at Eastern Railway’s Headquarters, today (1.8.2017) in presence of Dr. S. Kumar, Chief Medical Director, Shri N. K. Prasad, Chief Personnel Officer and other principal officers of Eastern Railway. This card will facilitate Pan India provision of Cashless Treatment Scheme in Emergency (CTSE), in empaneled private hospitals for retired railway employees and their dependent family members.
This scheme introduced by Indian Railways, will be very helpful for retired railway employees residing in those parts of the cities and suburbs which are far away from established Railway Hospitals. Now, the Railway beneficiaries availing this CTSE scheme can avail emergency medical facilities anywhere in India in any of the empaneled hospitals without formal referral from the local Railway medical authority.
The willing retired RELHS (Retired Employees Liberal Health Scheme) Card holders can enroll themselves under this scheme on payment of one time subscription fee and CTSE Card will be issued in favour of the retired railway employees and their dependents.
